PLA Spoon We offer mini spoons made from PLA. PLA stands for polylatic acid, or polylatide. It's bioplastic derived from corn starch. Being made from PLA, these spoons have a smooth finish and are fully compostable. They are perfect for ice-cream or sampling. Pls note that they are not suitable for hot foods and drinks above 50 centigrade.
